The organization in response to high levels of illiteracy that stands at 83% in the target region, has developed a number of education development programs that include the development of learning institutions infrastructure, capacity building program for teachers and education officers, and school retention program that include issuing of learning materials and implementing of school feeding programs especially for children in primary school.
The organization strives to promote the right to education in the inclusive education program for both boys and girls as well as Children Living with Disabilities (CLWD) inclusive education. The Shadow of Charity Organization has established a high quality programme for Inclusive Education focusing on Special Needs Education where development of the community is an integrated component. The organization has developed a five-year strategic plan (2021-2026) that will see the implementation of education programs to include development of new education institutions to accommodate the growing number of children expected to learn. The organization is also working to improve the quality of education, which ensure learning.
